Local moms have hand-picked fabulous activities to do around Paris for kids. They’ve all been planed with your children’s special interest in mind!

Moms and dads, aunts and uncles, grandmas and granpas,you want quality time together with the children but you might also need time to relax and explore on your own knowing your kids are well looked after and are having he time of their lives. We offer a varied programme of daytime activities for children between the ages of seven and twelve, with tours limited to a five childen maximum, so every child gets plenty of chance to ask questions and get to know fellow adventure seeker.

Our tours last 3 hours, from 2.30PM to 5.30PM, and cost 75 euros per child. You get great value since you can expect to pay 20 euros an hour with a three hour minimum for baby-sitting at your hotel, with hopefully a video as only entertainment!

Left bank fun
On this fun packed tour we might stop at the oh-so-Parisian park, le jardin du luxembourg, to sail toy boats on the grand bassin, ride the gorgeous wooden animals of the merry go round designed by Garnier (the architect of the Opera), check out the best puppet show in France or race pedal-powered cars. We visit the natural history museum, it’s cool parade of life-size African animals, The light and sound shows featuring the different animal habitats, the gallery of extinct creatures and the collection of creapy skeletons and oddities like pickled monkeys and pickled human brains. We could also travel back in time at the museum of the middle ages to see mythical creatures, learn all about knights in shinning armors and princesses, go to the world’s first public zoo or take a trip to the tropics at the grande serre, a giant greenhouse turned urban jungle!

Right bank adventure
Here is a list of the stops this terrific tour might make: we could go see fire-eaters, sword swallowers, mimes and musicians, go up the glass tubes of the Pompidou Center for a spectacular vista and see the crazy fontain of Nikki St Phalle with robots and squirting art. We could set out on a journey of illusion at the magic museum, with real magicians who’ll perform all sorts of conjuring tricks and card tricks for us. We might meet 500 dolls and view their lovely homes at the doll museum and the doll clinic, where you can bring your doll for repairs. And to finish off we would visit the beautiful Marais district, go throught secret passages and hidden squares and gardens, have a picnic and a soccer game.

Island magic
On this fabulous tour we check out gargoyles, the spectacular rose window, the magnificent cloister portal of Notre Dame where for centuries the kings and queens of France were crowned and climb up to the cathedral roof for a spectacular view of Paris.We walk into a rainbow at the Sainte Chapelle, where Kaleidoscope colored light surrounds us as we “read” the old testament stories on each stained-glass window. We go to the conciergerie, to view this palace turned prison and see Marie-Antoinette’s cell, go to Paris’ biggest flower market, the bird market and to an archeologycal crypte.

Restaurant reservations
It’s not always easy to find restaurants abroad that your kids will like. Local moms have hand-picked restaurants with atmosphere, historical ones, Parisian classics or entertaining ones (your waiter sings opera, the restaurant is pitch black and you’re guided by blind waiters, you prepare your food with a French chef…) that are sure to please the whole family. We charge 30 euros to make the reservations for as many nights as you please. The restaurants will be between 30 and 40 euros.
